Skybox rounds up resellers

By

Vulnerability management firm Skybox Security is recruiting reseller partners to expand its worldwide sales.

Fourteen firms have partnered with Skybox so far, including companies such as PlanB Technologies, SiegeWorks in North America, and Cirosec (Germany).

"Our partners are recognized security experts in their regions," said Yo Delmar, vice president of business development for Skybox. "The high caliber of these companies demonstrates the need for a new approach to risk management, and the potential for modelling and attack simulation as the 'brains' behind it."

Skybox said its partners can help customers close security threats in a matter of hours instead of weeks.

According to Deloitte's annual Global Security Survey for 2004,
83 per cent of respondents reported their systems had been
compromised in the past year, compared to 39 percent in 2002.
