On April 5, 2011, iTnews hosted the official launch of a research paper penned by new economy legal firm Truman Hoyle, which dissected the cloud computing contracts of some 25 local and international public cloud computing service providers.
The event – held at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, saw Truman Hoyle partner Mark Vincent outline some of the core findings of the report, with additional presentations by VMware senior vice president of virtualisation and cloud, Raghu Raghuram and data centre specialist Sally Parker.
The research paper is available for download and has also been neatly summarised by the iTnews team.
We expect this report to become a crucial reference document for any Australian organisation considering the use of public cloud computing services.
